What is consignment?
The word consignment means placing an item in the hands of another person, but retaining ownership until the item is sold. In the context of the sale it is understood that the consignee(in this case Phantastic Phinds) pays the consignor(you) only after the sale, from its proceeds.
Will you pre appraise my items before I bring them in for consignment?
No. Unlike most shops we put a lot of research into pricing and identifying each item so we can get a fair market value for each piece. All items are different and have different attributes that need to be investigated. We start our Pricing investigation once your contract is signed and items are in store.

How much money will I receive from the sale of my item(s)
You will receive 50% of the selling price.
When Will I get Paid?
You will receive your check on sold items within 30 days from the end of your consignment period.
How long does it take to get an appointment? Anywhere from 4-14 days for furniture.

We are the only company to market your items many different way. We do not just put a colored sticker on it and put it on the floor for sale.
We do a bi weekly blog listing al new arrivals so your items get maximum exposure.
We are open Mon - Friday 10-6. Saturday 10-5:30. We do not close early on a whim but only if road conditions turn dangerous in the winter.

We accept credit cards not just cash and we allow for a 3 day pick up on sold items. So we make it easier for people to buy your items without having strangers come to your house or a strange parking lot to exchange cash. We are a safe alternative to selling it yourself.
May I pick up my Items before the end of he contract?
No. Since so much time and effort goes into marketing your items, you will be charged either $45.00 or 50% of the list price (whichever is higher) to pick up your items early.
How do I schedule an appointment to consign furniture?
The first step is to email photographs and dimensions of the items that you wish to consign to email@example.com. After we have reviewed your images we will contact you to schedule a time for drop off. Please note that we do not come to your location to review your items. Appointment time is anywhere from 5-14 days in advance
What types of furniture do you consider?
We have a great turnover rate for furniture and are always looking for new pieces. While we specialize in well made vintage and antique furniture, we will consider furniture of any style and age as long as it is structurally sound and free of any particle or pressed board construction.

How do I know if my pieces have particle board?
You can usually identify particle or pressed board by looking at any unfinished side of the piece (usually the back, bottom, or inside the drawers). Particle board will appear as pressed sand or saw dust. Flake board will appear as pressed wood chips.
Does any particle board disqualify my piece from consideration?
We will still consider pieces that have particle board in the drawers or as the back piece. We will not consider any pieces that have particle board as a part of the surface, frame, or construction. .
What condition do my pieces have to be in?
All pieces must be in stable structural condition. We will not accept any pieces that are unstable or not fit for everyday use.
Is it ok if my pieces need refinishing?
Yes. As long as they are stable and have a solid interior structure cosmetic, cosmetic damage will only affect the listing price of your pieces. We do sell Chalk Paint® Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan and many of our customers are hobbyist, amateur, and professional furniture refinisher and designers.
Do you purchase furniture?
We are primarily a consignment shop, but we will consider purchases.
Do you pick up furniture?
We do not pick up ourselves but we can refer you to several reasonably priced services.
How do I know if you will accept my furniture?
